Listen, there's ego between crest and crash. Souls come and go, so where is the soul ‘after’ death?

When recorded, do waves have voices?
They do.

Between crest and crash the ego asks, ‘Where is the soul after death?’

All souls come and go. If you remove the white from the breaking water, the upward motion of the wave, the clothes of the breaking mist, and the experience of the crashing sound… just what is left?

All the other swells are aghast to hear about the wave who wouldn’t mind if the entire ocean had no waves at all! “But… but… being a wave is such privilege,” they shout out in their breaking ego froth.

Ah, the lament of ego... that souls come and go.
We ask, ‘Do waves have voices’?

Arrogance is inflamed by the misperception leading it to believe it exists or doesn’t exist.

It’s curious when we watch our prideful wave-souls crash and dissolve, how suddenly, many of us no longer need to tell other waves of our ‘lives’.

Without thought of undertow or tumbling whitewash, all waves become one as they forget to count the time between crest and crash.
The ego keeps asking, ‘Where is the soul after death’?
