Many six legged friends await your arrival.
Winged perceptions only teem where there are things, and things are the swarm partners of thought.
Grasshoppers are perplexed! They ask, 'Why can’t they chew all the way to the tasty truth, molt, and exit the swarm?' They fail to see that perception isn’t just being filtered, it IS a filter.
Before the very hungry grasshopper mutates into a ravenous locust, ‘perception’ is one of the last things it’s curious about.
When in locustland, anything seems possible, like discovering their real self, eating every single blade of wheat in the countryside, mastering the power of creation, defoliating a zillion square miles of plants, removing ego and working in universal swarm power.
Nothing can stop 'the locust', or so it seems.
Soon, the food runs out, the winds change, and all are blown out to the sea; covering the waters' surface in inches of edible grasshopper goodness.
Fish have no complaints.
Thought likes to judge its self by using its reflection as baseline to evaluate all else.
Though the locust discovers the power of attention and intention - perception itself remains the sublime breeze between it and its destination. That’s why they keep wondering why ‘they can’t just fly to a better place, one with endless crops'.
The mind under trance usually refuses to examine the source of its daze. That’s why we’re always looking for something, as if it’s ‘outside’ our reverie.
To be a masterful locust, facing perceptions limitation is mandibletory. It takes courage to look at the reflection of fearsome mouth parts and moving antenna! Here, perception isn’t corrupt, but the belief that ‘perception can lead you to the absolute’ is.
Sure as insects crawl, perception is contingent on movement above the fractal crop canvas. The filtering cocoon needs to pupate. To perceive, there must be a word buzzing thought… a whirling sound, the sensation of sun-‘light’, and the ‘time’ which supports the illusion-like ‘energy’. Winged perception and comprehension only teem where there are 'things', and things are the swarm partners of thought.
